Objective:

To create a web that can monitors the weather and climates changes around the world, starting from Malaysia

Intro:

Climate is the average and variations of weather in a region over long periods of time. Climate change refers to the variation in the Earth's global climate or in regional climates over time. It describes changes in the variability or average state of the atmosphere over time scales ranging from decades to millions of years. These changes can be caused by processes internal to the Earth, external forces (e.g. variations in sunlight intensity) or, more recently, human activities.

In recent usage, especially in the context of environmental policy, the term "climate change" often refers only to changes in modern climate, including the rise in average surface temperature known as global warming.

Earth has undergone periodic climate shifts in the past, including four major ice ages. These consisting of glacial periods where conditions are colder than normal, separated by intergalcial periods. The accumulation of snow and ice during a glacial period increases the surface albedo, reflecting more of the Sun's energy into space and maintaining a lower atmospheric temperature. Increases in greenhouse gases, such as by volcanic activity, can increase the global temperature and produce an interglacial. Suggested causes of ice age periods include the positions of the continents, variations in the Earth's orbit, changes in the solar output, and vulcanism.

Discussion:

The web would consist of an interactive world map where user would be able to click on any desired places on the world map to check on the current weather and its climate: temperature, status, condition. There are few types of climates which are maritime, mesothermal, tropical, polar and mountain will be shown. Furthermore weather condition such as sunny, rainy, snowy or thunderstorm will be provided.

Problems that may surface are for example, the current condition or status of a certain place might be as accurate as origin place; there will be errors and data loss. The actual climate of a particular place might differ from what is shown in the page. To overcome this problem, a different source of climates updates would be helpful to get a more accurate value; hence it can be a good forecast site.

Other than that, the web might not cover the whole world as there will be a few secluded areas that will be missed. This is because area with less population or zero population is not being focus. To overcome this problem, a different source of climates updates would be helpful to get a more accurate value; hence user can get a better knowledge on their desired place.
